This kit eliminates the factory fuel pump.
The HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) series system is basicallya high quality fuel transfer pump that utilizes the same durable motors thatare used in the FASS series. These High Pressure Fuel Pumps are capable of deliveringa more consistent flow of fuel under constant pressure to your engine, especiallyunder heavy loads, than the factory fuel pump is capable of. This can help preventdamage to the injection system and also allows the engine to run more efficiently.

Stock to Moderate Applications should be used for all standard vehicles. Allother applications are for extreme horsepower only. Installing the wrong FASS,HPFP, or Installation kit can cause severe engine damage. Duramax & Powerstrokeapplications will require a disconnect tool. PSI readings are approximationswithout engine running.
