Performance programming raises the fuel rail pressure and may cause the fuel rail release valve to open, causing trouble codes P0087 and P1011 (in the 6.7L). The Fuel Rail Plug (FRP) for Ram 6.7L and Duramax 6.6L diesel engines eliminates unwanted pressure relief of the fuel rail when running a high performance tuning device. The FRP will eliminate the valve, allowing ample pressure to the rail and injectors, all without worry of losing rail pressure or trouble codes.
