If your Pump Mounted Driver (PMD) in your Chevy GMC 6.5L has called it quits like they so often do, then use a BD 40" PMD Extension Cable to easily relocate your PMD. The 40" PMD Extension Cable allows you to move your PMD away from the hot manifold for a longer lasting PMD.
The PMD Pump Mounted Driver is an electronic control module that is mounted to the side of the 6.5L Injection Pump. As with most electronics, they begin to fail when the heat in the surrounding environment becomes too high. The stock PMD is mounted near the hot manifold, these cables make relocation away from this heat source a snap.
Note: This cable will not fit new style Stanadyne "Grey" PMD manufactured after April 2009. Will fit all D-Tech and Stanadyne "Black" PMD's.To use the extension cable with the new Grey PMD, you will need the PMD adaptor part # AP0024.
