Alliant Power Head Installation Kit fits 2001 - 2004 Chevy GMC 6.6L Duramax LB7. Part# AP0045.
This kit includes all of the necessary seals
and gaskets to remove and install the cylinder heads as well as head studs to
replace the factory head bolts. These applications utilize different thicknesses
of head gaskets therefore the head gaskets themselves are not included in this
kit and must be ordered separately. Please use the identification table below
to choose the correct head gaskets for your Duramax.
Duramax Head Gasket Identification Guide
The 6.6 L Duramax engine families utilize three different grades (thicknesses)
of head gaskets that are also specific to which side of the engine they are
being installed on. The table and images below will aid in identifying the proper
head gaskets required for your specific application. The head gaskets listed
below work in conjunction with the AP0045 and AP0046 Head Installation Kits.
