The PhatShaft 62 compliments moderate fueling upgrades and can support 300 - 550hp and is the perfect upgrade turbo for towing! The PhatShaft 62 for the 12 valve comes with the 12cm housing matched with a 65mm turbine. We suggest a 12 cm turbine housing if the truck has moderate fueling upgrades such as 300hp injectors and a camplate. If the truck has heavier fueling upgrades such as 370hp injectors, aggressive camplate and governor springs, then you will be better suited with 14cm housing. The benefit of the 14cm exhaust housing is lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures, but it will be slower to spool in daily driving situations. The wastegate is set at 40psi to prevent head gasket failure.

No core charge required. This turbo is a drop-in replacement, but the HX40 downpipe is required for installation. Please let us know if you need one before you pay so that we can adjust your invoice.
