Dyno Appointments

Have you ever seen a product advertised that claims to give you better performance, but it just seems too good to be true? Well, now you can find out exactly what you are getting. On our Mustang MD-1100 dyno, we can dyno tune your engine and check your horsepower output before and after you install your intake kit, exhaust system, performance chip or any performance related item. We can test for horsepower, torque, and even check your 1/4 and 1/8 mile sprint times. A dyno run can be extremely useful in diagnosing problems too. In one case, we found that a customers methanol injection wan't properly jetted, so they were actually losing horsepower when it was turned on. All dyno runs include a detailed printout for you to keep for bragging rights.

The Mustang MD-1100 Dynomometer

The Mustang MD-1100 dyno is designed to test Sport Compacts, RWD Drag Cars, Diesel Trucks, and Motorcycles - truly amazing for only one machine. With a capacity of 1,500 HP at the wheels, the 1100 is large enough to handle 99.9% of the street cars on the road today. Unlike similarly priced 24” roll dynos, the 1100 offers big 30” diameter rolls for superior traction so your wheels will not slip when boost kicks in, or when nitrous oxide is used. Our 1100 also has the optional eddy current power absorber unit (PAU) to allow exact high-performance tuning of spark and fuel curves with true real-world road load simulation.
