puts to the ground? Or can you really get an extra 100hp simply by installing
a Superchip tuner on your Chevy Duramax? Can you really get a 250 degree drop
in egt's with a 4" exhaust on your Ford 6.0L?
No more guessing! We came up with the idea of putting together
a website for the sole purpose of tracking the vehicles that we run on our Mustang
MD-1100 Dyno.
The information is posted on Club
Dyno where you will see the vehicles, the products they use, and the progress
they made. We post as much detailed information as possible on each vehicle.
Not only will you get the initial run data, but we will also provide you with
the tuned run data and any and all modifications that have been done to the
truck or car. Periodically our tech's will do write up's on certain products
on how easy or difficult they were to install and what they feel was best bang
for the dollar!
5th Annual Dyno Day!
We
want to thank everyone who showed up on Saturday, June 4th 2011 to make our
5th annual Dyno Day a huge success and one of our biggest turnouts to date.
It's a lot of work to put this event together, but we're starting to feel like
we're getting this thing down! As always, it was great to see some familiar
faces and and meet some new folks that showed up for their first time. We ran
a record 45 trucks across the dyno and saw some great numbers from some great
rigs. Carl Baker won the Unlimited Class with his 2001 Dodge 5.9L with 562 hp.
Vern Antonson took the Sportsman Class with his 2004 Dodge 5.9L at 561 hp. Kasey
French wasn't far behind, and he dominated the Tuner Class with his 2006 Dodge
5.9L at 530 hp. It was great to see some brand new unmodified trucks show their
stuff too, and Grant Clapp's 2011 Ford 6.7L took the honors in the Stock Class
at 325 hp. That's a respectable number, considering that a few short years ago
you would have had to do some work to get your truck up to 325 hp at the rear
wheels, and the Scorpion does it right off the showroom floor. We'll be looking
forward to seeing some more modified Scorpions soon!
